The father of Brittany Jacks (the local 16-year-old found dead inside her house after her mother apparently killed she and her three sisters) has returned to the scene in the knick of time - in time to make some money off of the tragedy, that is.
He's filing a modest ($25 million) lawsuit claiming that Brittany's death "denied (him) the financial benefits, gifts and other contributions." WTF??? So clearly in mourning, this guy is not bemoaning the fact that he could have stopped this murder but didn't, rather, he's just pretty annoyed that if Brittany HAD finished high school, maybe she would have been worth something to him? A nice leather jacket for Christmas? Pay his rent once in a while?
Actually, as far as contributions go, it was SUPPOSED to be the other way around. In 2002 he was required to begin paying child support, which he failed to do. Amazing he can accuse the DC child welfare bureaucracy of negligence - clearly the irony is lost on the guy. Maybe DC can sue HIM????
